Description Antti Savolainen 2024-09-11 04:56:44 UTC
SUMMARY
Demonstrative video: https://youtu.be/dG5au4TXZDo
I have a setup where two displays are connected to a laptop. Whenever I wake the laptop from sleep the focus follows the display that woke up last. This means that I can't start typing my password before all the screens have woken up or it will get cut up to pieces. To remedy this I suggest that the focus is forced on the first screen that wakes up.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Connect a slow waking display to a laptop
2. Start typing your password as soon as possible

OBSERVED RESULT
The password will be cut in half based on display focus

EXPECTED RESULT
The password should stay in a single display

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux: Arch Linux
