Description braidengent 2024-09-09 20:54:20 UTC
Application: ark (23.08.5)

Qt Version: 5.15.13
Frameworks Version: 5.115.0
Operating System: Linux 6.8.0-41-generic x86_64
Windowing System: X11
Distribution: Ubuntu 24.04.1 LTS
DrKonqi: 5.27.11 [KCrashBackend]

-- Information about the crash:
Closed laptop (ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 10) lid while it was connected to a thunderbolt 3 dock (which was being used to connect to 2 external monitors). When I opened up the laptop lid 30 minutes later the external the monitors were black and the laptop screen was frozen on the login splash screen (but with no where to type a password while being unresponsive to keyboard or mouse/trackpad input). I unplugged and replugged the dock and was able to log in, but on login ark crashed and needed to restart itself (which it did successfully).

The reporter is unsure if this crash is reproducible.

-- Backtrace:
Application: Ark (ark), signal: Segmentation fault

Could you please install debug symbols and attach a new symbolicated backtrace generated by using coredumpctl gdb in a terminal window? See https://community.kde.org/Guidelines_and_HOWTOs/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports#Retrieving_a_backtrace_using_coredumpctl for details about how to do this.
Thank you.
