Description Ben 2024-09-09 13:17:29 UTC
SUMMARY: Add 3 Fields 'Aspect Ratio' & 'X Resolution' & 'Y Resolution'

In the same way that file krusader already has various fields that you can decide to display

Ext, Size, Modified, rwx, Owner, Group etc etc

Having these 3 other fields would make video and picture organisation a lot quicker and easier to sort by
specifically when it comes to videos (MP4, AVI) etc etc the ability to sort them from say, the lowest or highest
aspect ratio or X/Y resolution is not purely to see that info, but rather so one can then select from say, the top and use
the keyboard arrow keys to select all the ones that are say 16:9 (wide screen format) and copy or move those
video files to another folder

Tools like MediaInfo are fantastic but, when you have say, 40 videos, manually right-clicking on each individual video one at a time to review the video aspect ratio or resolution, then close the MediaInfo window then copy/move the video to another folder and then perform the same action again on the next video is time consuming

Having the ability to quickly sort media by Aspect Ratio or X/Y resolution drasticly makes this a whole a lot quicker and more efficiant

Dolphin File Manager does have support for Aspect Ratio, but at the moment that function is not working, plus also having X/Y resolution is imo a good idea for file krusader
