These issues do not occur with floating panel disabled. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Make sure the Floating panel is enabled 2. Maximize firefox (seems to only affect couple of apps, notably vscode and firefox) 3. Maximize another window on top 4. unmaximize window 5. notice how firefox window looks broken during the animation OBSERVED RESULT Firefox window looks broken during the animation EXPECTED RESULT It should look fine SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: macOS: (available in the Info Center app, or by running `kinfo` in a terminal window) Linux/KDE Plasma: KDE Plasma Version: 6.1.4 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.5.0 Qt Version: 6.7.2 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
(Disabling floating panel and re-maximizing windows is a workaround)
Possibly a bug in kwin rather than plasmashell? Maximizing firefox/vscode whille the panel is NOT floated (aka overlaps with a window) also leads to animation looking fine
