SUMMARY

File open from kdesvn, with kate does not work



STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. connect to svn repository
2. navigate to text file
3. right click on file and select "Open with Kate"

OBSERVED RESULT

Kate launches, but with an empty file and a message that states "The file <filename> is still loading".  

Mousing over the message shows a URL of 

ksvn://localhost/<repo>/trunk/<filepath>?rev=HEAD


EXPECTED RESULT

Kate should open with the contents of the file, as displayed when issuing the following from the command line 

svn cat svn://localhost/<repo>/trunk/<filepath>
