I HATE persistent notifications. So I tried everything I possible can to disable them on Samsung Galaxy 22 plus phones. Nothing in the app settings works except disabling ALL notifications.

If I do this, I cannot use Find My Phone nor get other notifications I WANT to get.

Certainly there is a way to disable the persistent notification with just an in-app toggle rather than needing to disable all app notifications and accompanying features, yes?
