Description Dr. Adrià Julià 2024-09-06 10:46:06 UTC
SUMMARY
Using the Maxima backend latex formulas are not rendered despite Typeset using LaTeX is enabled. It can be solved by disabling and enabling it again.

While it can be temporarily solved, this bug impairs the out-of-the-box experience of prospective users.

The temporary fix needs to be applied every time the program is re-opened.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Use the Maxima backend.
2. Write and run the following formula matrix([1,1],[2,2])
3. Go to Worksheet > Settings > Typeset using LaTeX and disable it (it is enabled by default).
4. Go to Worksheet > Settings > Typeset using LaTeX and re-enable it.
5. Re-run the formula and now it will be properly rendered.

OBSERVED RESULT
Formulas not rendered despite Typeset using LaTeX is enabled.

EXPECTED RESULT
Formulas rendered when Typeset using LaTeX is enabled by default at startup.
