*** If you're not sure this is actually a bug, instead post about it at https://discuss.kde.org If you're reporting a crash, attach a backtrace with debug symbols; see https://community.kde.org/Guidelines_and_HOWTOs/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports *** SUMMARY Due to textures, I believe, horizontal size, top bar brush size and settings brush size do not match with eachother STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Go to edit any of the brushes textures 2. Select predefined tab 3. Select a texture that has the first number smaller than the other (ex. 200x250) OBSERVED RESULT You can notice that brush size in that same tab is smaller than the brush size shown at the top of the program (toolbar or whatever) EXPECTED RESULT Brush settings size should be same as top bar brush size SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: 10 Im not sure what kde plasma, kde framework, qt versions are unfortunately ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Basically, I just updated from v5.2.2 to v5.2.3 hoping to fix some issues, but then came onto this bug where brush size in brush settings and brush size at the top toolbar wouldn't be in sync aka same number. Half of the brush (even default not only custom ) brush textures are affected. By my observation, it seems that image size of the texture is what determines it, meaning if the first number is smaller than the other. Presumably that is horizontal size smaller than vertical (ex: image 20x30). From my working example; I use 5px size brush that is now defaulted to 12.11px, if I put top bar to 5px (aka turn 12.11px to 5px) brush size in settings turns to 2.06px and the brush size becomes drastically smaller on canvas than what it should be. (I really am unsure of how to use this website, I tried my best figuring out so I am sorry if I messed anything up!)

Hello, sorry that this issue hasn't gotten any response yet. I can reproduce this bug in 5.2.11 on Linux. To clarify: this isn't to do with the Texture property of a brush, just the predefined tips on their own. Selecting a brush tip in the Brush Editor with a smaller width than height will cause the sliders of the Editor and the main Toolbar to display different values. You can see this in default brush tips like 'smear_paint', 'rake_dotted' and 'rake_flat'.
Hello, that is alright!! I am sorry for not being to explain myself as I have usually troubles with it! I couldn't find the bug report so thankfully it came to my e-mail so I want to add that I am now using linux. Currently on Linux Mint 22.2, using the appimage of the newest Krita version from official website v5.2.13, the issue of the brush size with brush tip width smaller than height is as well still here!
