Since a week or so, the left arrow doesnt work anymore. I thought this was a hardware issue, but the same happens with an Apple USB keyboard and a Logitech wireless keyboard. Meanwhile, the key works in SDDM. This is really strange, any way to detect how far the key stroke goes would help. I am also not sure where this belongs. libinput-1.26.2-1.fc40.x86_64 libwayland-client-1.23.0-2.fc40.x86_64 libwayland-cursor-1.23.0-2.fc40.x86_64 libwayland-server-1.23.0-2.fc40.x86_64 libwayland-egl-1.23.0-2.fc40.x86_64 wayland-utils-1.2.0-4.fc40.x86_64 Operating System: Fedora Linux 40 Kinoite KDE Plasma Version: 6.1.4 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.5.0 Qt Version: 6.7.2 Kernel Version: 6.10.6-200.fc40.x86_64 (64-bit) Graphics Platform: Wayland Processors: 8 × 11th Gen Intel® Core™ i7-1165G7 @ 2.80GHz Memory: 15.5 GiB of RAM Hardware: Novacustom Clevo NV41 with dasharo Coreboot
If it works in SDDM but not your normal session, then there's some configuration in your normal session that's blocking it. Does this reproduce in a new clean user account? If not, then my theory is right, and you'll need to figure out what customization is causing it.
Input works on the lockscreen of the same user. Which is odd... I will try a second profile.
sorry, this was indeed me having "left" assigned to an action that was gone. This could be a FR tbh, to automatically unassign such combos, or block single-key-shortcuts in some cases like the arrow keys, or letter keys.
