The section in Discover “To update” is just a long list. To get a better overview of the installed applications/packages, I suggest a filter function for the list by “Type”. - System - Manually installed (Repository) - Manually installed (RPM) - Flatpak - Snap - Plasmoid -.... This would help me to get a better overview of what is installed
They are already grouped more or less like this. Or at least, they're supposed to be! Note that in your preferred classification, "Repository" and "RPM" would show the same things, and "System" is unfortunately not a thing we can do because we don't have enough information from package management systems to distinguish what came with the system vs what the user manually installed. But other than those, things should be grouped. Can you attach a screenshot showing what you see?
