*** If you're not sure this is actually a bug, instead post about it at https://discuss.kde.org If you're reporting a crash, attach a backtrace with debug symbols; see https://community.kde.org/Guidelines_and_HOWTOs/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports *** SUMMARY If you have a folder with multiple clips you want to add to your project, and multiple of those clips have audio/video profiles that don't exist yet. And you add the entire folder as a folder to your kdenlive project. you'll get popups asking if you want to create a profile for each of the files. Even though all the files in question have the exact same audio/video profile. If you say yes on each of those popups, it will create that many profiles (all duplicates of course) EXPECTED RESULT It should only ask it once and add one profile. (it should notice the other files have the same profile) SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: NixOS 24.11 KDE Plasma Version: 6.1.4 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.5.0 Qt Version: 6.7.2 Kernel Version: 6.6.47 (64-bit) Graphics Platform: Wayland Processors: 16 × AMD Ryzen 7 7840U w/ Radeon 780M Graphics Memory: 62.0 GiB of RAM Graphics Processor: AMD Radeon 780M Manufacturer: Framework Product Name: Laptop 13 (AMD Ryzen 7040Series) System Version: A7
