Description Liz Lee 2024-09-02 19:43:33 UTC
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. place the battery widget on the desktop
2. re-login or reboot

OBSERVED RESULT
only the widgets background is drawn, but neither are the battery icon nor the percentage. the widget is "empty". (NOTE: it does not claim the battery is empty. it's just the widgets visual contents that are missing)
at the same time, the widget works flawlessly when attached to a panel.

EXPECTED RESULT
the widget's battery icon and percentage should be drawn.
