At boot, after Spectacle; prefs panels

SUMMARY

I've got the Icons-only Task Manager living in a panel on the left-side of my screen (Panel config: Left, Center, Fit Content, Dodge Windows). The panel has the icons-only Task Manager, a Margins separator (that doesn't appear to draw, now that I'm looking carefully), and the Trash.

When I restart my Plasma session (generally from rebooting to pick up a new kernel, etc... I'm on OpenSUSE Tumbleweed), the entire panel is squashed and doesn't display any contents (see IconsTaskManager-before.png). Later, generally after launching some one or more apps, it expands and displays normally (see IconsTaskManager-after.png). In the attached example, it's expanded because I launched Spectacle by pressing Prt Scr.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Reboot system, log in to KDE Plasma 6 (Wayland) session.
2. Wait until panels/widgets are displayed.
3. Launch an app or two.

OBSERVED RESULT

The entire panel is squashed, displaying just a grey area. When you launch an app, it draws itself properly.

EXPECTED RESULT

All of my pinned icons are displayed when the Icons-Only Task Manager is loaded.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: openSUSE Tumbleweed 20240830 x86_64, Linux 6.10.5-1-default
KDE Plasma Version: KDE Plasma 6.1.4, KWin (Wayland), Breeze
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.1.4? I can't find a way to display this info for KDE6, only KDE5.
Qt Version: libQtCore6 claims to be 6.7.2-3.1

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

I've also attached the Appearance and Behaviour panels from Icons-Only Task Manager's preferences so you can see what settings I'm using.

Did some further experimentation, this might be a Panel bug instead.

I set up a new panel using the Icons-and-Text Task Manager, and it exhibits the same behaviour. You can see the before/after of both panels (Icons-and-Text on the left, Icons-Only on the bottom) in the two additional screen shots I've attached.

Both panels have the Task Manager, followed by a Margins Separator, and a Trashcan. Note that the Margins Separator isn't drawn in either panel, which seems like a separate bug.
