Does it always fail, or sometimes fail? If it's sometimes, this is very likely Bug 482713. If it always fails, then we need some more information: - How is the monitor connected? - Has changing screen brightness via Plasma ever worked? - Can you paste the output of `kscreen-doctor -o`?
This happens always for me. After system go to sleep and wakes up, one of of the monitor is always dimmer and I am unable to change the brightness of that monitor. - How is the monitor connected? The faulty one is connected with DP and the other one is connected with HDMI. - Has changing screen brightness via Plasma ever worked? It works fine when I start my computer. After computer wakes up from sleep, it stops working for one of my monitors. - Can you paste the output of `kscreen-doctor -o`? Thanks. When this happens, what level of brightness does the screen get stuck on? By any chance is it 21%?
It gets stuck at 27%.
