The second log file uploaded is from 5 minutes ago. The cursor started to go crazy on the screen (tails of cursor icons, flashing) and then Ptyxis errored out when trying to start. I went to restart. Pulled up the action menu, clicked on restart, and everything froze. Had to do a hard shutdown

It appears that the nvidia gpu is being used and the nvidia driver crashes. Can you report this issue to nvidia developers, there's not a lot that we can do about it?
Comment 4 Nate Graham 2024-09-27 14:01:05 UTC
…Specifically, by sending an email to linux-bugs@nvidia.com or making a post at https://forums.developer.nvidia.com/c/gpu-graphics/linux. It would be helpful to the NVIDIA developers if you could run nvidia-bug-report.sh and attach the resulting file in your report. Thanks!
