I wanted to report another bug where personnally I found a workaround to fix, see below. thank you again for your great work ! In some cases the faces (including the position of the faces) are not able to be written in the MetaData (without notification by the way). To me I strongly recommend to use by default the fantastic option using Exiftool. In the installation I noticed there is Exiftool.exe embedded in the DigiKam install (in C:\Program Files\digiKam\Exiftool.exe) BUT not the libraries. When I copy/paste libraries (meaning C:\Program Files\digiKam\exiftool_files), it is successful. Surprising DigiKam natively uses ExifTool while it invites to download it in the settings Hope it helps to fix it definitely and for other people
The problem has been reported before and is fixed in the pre-release version of digiKam-8.5.0, download here: https://files.kde.org/digikam/ Maik
