https://kde.org/fundraisers/plasma6member/ - there is a good text explanation why donations are needed and a very good motivator as a progress bar, that is funny to follow and see the community size.

That text and progress bar should be added (or even merged) to the main donation page: https://kde.org/donate/ - that, at this point, is too corporate and formal, does not motivate people to donate...
