Description YAFU 2024-08-29 12:30:32 UTC
SUMMARY
After suspend to RAM/Resume action, the "Folders" panel on the left appears empty/blanck in previously open windows of Dolphin before suspending. In those Dolphin windows the following message appears: Current Location Changed. </ folding> is no longer accessible

Pressing F7 twice to close/open panel the problem continues, "Folders" panel does not recover. I have to close that Dolphin window. New Dolphin windows that open work well, "Folders" Panel shows the correct content.

The problem began from some recent update.
I am using Nvidia card, with 550,107.02 drivers.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open dolphin windows that have "folder" (F7) visible panel
2. Suspend and then sResume system

OBSERVED RESULT
"Folders" Panel in Dolphin is empty and the following message appears: Current Location Changed. </ folding> is no longer accessible

EXPECTED RESULT
"Folders" Panel in Dolphin is not empty

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: KDE Neon 6.1 22.04 (x86_64)
KDE Plasma Version: 6.1.4
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.5.0
Qt Version: 6.7.2

Correction:
Where says "</ folding>" should be "</folder> and I mean that there shows the location where it was before suspend/resume action

(My English is not good and Google translator either)

Hi. It's probably not a KDE bug. Before the Dolphin problem appeared I had been trying to fix some problems with Kernel 6.8 and nvidia, and maybe I messed it up by modifying something. I've reverted some changes and reinstalled packages and after rebooting I couldn't reproduce the problem in Dolphin. Still many problems with Kernel 6.8 and nvidia, but the problem with Dolphin is gone for now.
