SUMMARY Disabling sliding popup effect also disable panel hiding animation. I would appreciate if there is an option in settings enable it only for panel and not for others (e.g system tray, application launcher). STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open System settings 2. go to "Window Management" > "Desktop Effects" > "Sliding Popup" effect OBSERVED RESULT Sliding popup have various glitches for popups. but disabling it also disable panel animation EXPECTED RESULT Panel hide with an animation and popups hide normally SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS KDE Plasma Version: 6.1.4 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.5.0 Qt Version: 6.7.2

I assume "Morphing popup" is an animation when you navigate from one tool-tip to it's neighbor.
