SUMMARY
background noise when pressing play even though there is no audio

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Place an element on the timeline
2. Hit play

OBSERVED RESULT: You will hear very high-pitched background noise, even if it is just an image, even if it is not a file with sound, you will hear noise when you press play


EXPECTED RESULT: You shouldn't hear any noise


SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS: I had a not very recent version of the sortware, I installed a newer version but the problem persisted
