Description peter_s_d 2002-10-16 04:27:14 UTC
Version: 0.7.1 (using KDE 3.0.3)
Installed from: SuSE
Compiler: gcc version 2.95.2 19991024 (release)
OS: Linux (i586) release 2.2.19

This might be my misunderstanding rather than a real bug.

When I connect to my ISP, download headers,
disconnect and move through the downloaded headers
they get marked as read without any deliberate action
on my part - even if they are marked as "watched".
I have not read any of the articles that have not
been downloaded.

Articles are automatically marked as read if I
navigate through them while I am connected (as they
should be).

This is related to, but not the same as;
"1940 not retrievable articles remain unread"
and "33036 lost articles with delay body".
I have had problems with leafnode, but will upgrade
leafnode before I add to 33036.

technically its not a bug, because it's the desired behaviour, but I agree that the
behaviour ist not optimal. I will put the report on the wishlist.

Fixed in KDE 3.5.
