Dolphin 24.05.2 stopped displaying thumbnails for any files or folders. They are turned on for all files, and it happens with local and remote files as well. What did you update ? Did change ? Do you have kio-extras package installed ?

Did you turned them off accidentally (F12 shortcut) ?

The option seems to not even be visible in the menus when in hamburger menu mode, this is an issue. Myself I have added the show thumbnail button to my toolbar.
