STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Install the following two flatpaks from FlatHub `flatpak install --user com.spotify.Client` `flatpak install --user org.geogebra.GeoGebra` 2. Open Spotify and play a song 3. Open GeoGebra OBSERVED RESULT GeoGebra shows also a speaker icon, while Spotify is playing. `pw-top` does not say anything about GeoGebra. EXPECTED RESULT GeoGebra shows no speaker icon. Other flatpaks or apps in the icon only task manager are not affected for me. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: Fedora Linux 40 KDE Plasma Version: 6.1.4 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.5.0 Qt Version: 6.7.2 Kernel Version: 6.10.3-200.fc40.x86_64 (64-bit) Graphics Platform: Wayland PipeWire: 1.0.7 Wireplumber: 0.5.5
Tested it also with Strawberry 1.1.1 (flatpak from Fedora) as well as VLC and Firefox 128 from Fedora RPM Repo: They don't create this bug, when playing something back in conjunction with GeoGebra.
GeoGebra and Spotify are somehow entangled: When muting or changing the volume of one in the icon only task manager, it affects the other too.
i can reproduce this too, it look like Electron shenanigans because it happen with others Electrons apps too, like ElectronMail also from flathub Operating System: Fedora Linux 40 KDE Plasma Version: 6.1.4 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.5.0 Qt Version: 6.7.2 Kernel Version: 6.10.3-200.fc40.x86_64 (64-bit) Graphics Platform: Wayland Processors: 16 × AMD Ryzen 7 5700U with Radeon Graphics Memory: 7,1 GiB of RAM Graphics Processor: AMD Radeon Graphics Manufacturer: LENOVO Product Name: 82MF System Version: IdeaPad 3 15ALC6
