GIMP's preferences dialog.

SUMMARY

With the Breeze Dark theme, some apps have almost illegible text.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Select Breeze Dark.
2. Start GIMP.
3. Open GIMP's preferences dialog (for instance).

OBSERVED RESULT
Text in labels and combo boxes is almost illegible (see attachment).

EXPECTED RESULT
Text should be legible.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
This is a fairly fresh install. The laptop also has a dedicated NVIDIA GPU.

This is not restricted to GIMP, other applications are also affected, for instance FreeFileSync.

This is an issue in the app itself. Also, I can't reproduce it in GIMP 2.10.38. Are you using a newer version e.g. the version 3 beta or something?

Oh you're right. I was totally oblivious to the fact that you can change themes in GIMP itself. Unfortunately, the dark theme is currently broken (when the DE is set to a dark theme), at least on my machine.
