This seems to be a bug afaik. Display server is X.Org X11. Only happens when the panel is positioned at the bottom of the screen.

On another note, this seems to be a wider problem and not just related to the panel. I have seen this issue right now with the splash screen, a seemingly line at the bottom of the screen which the splash screen does NOT cover.

+ It happens when i set the size of the panel to 48, on 46 there is no gap.

What scale factor are you using? 100%, or something else?

This might very well be a scale factor issue, as I am using 118,75 on a 15inch laptop screen. However, the gap is gone on 125%. On wayland, the gap is on 120% and also disappears at 125%.

Aha, so then this is fixed in 6.2.0, at least on Wayland. On X11 it's unfortunately nearly unfixable.
