SUMMARY
The Virtual Keyboard on the login/lock screen pre-selected keyb layout is not the correct/localized one for the selected user (it shows the American English). The correct one is available on the list, but it should be pre-selected.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Select the keyboard layout you want at installation or in the Settings.
2. On the login/lock screen the Virtual Keyboard does not show the correct/localized keyb layout for the selected user (it shows the American English).

OBSERVED RESULT
On the login/lock screen the Virtual Keyboard does not show the correct localized keyb layout for the selected user (it shows the American English).

EXPECTED RESULT
The pre-selected keyb layout on the Virtual Keyboard on  the login/lock screen should be the correct localized one for the selected user instead of the American English.

Thanks for the bug report, and I'm sorry we weren't able to get to this yet? Can I ask if you're still able to reproduce the issue with Plasma 6.3.5 or later?
