A window can be tiled by double clicking a window edge. While a useful feature, it is also prone to accidental triggering and it would be helpful to have the ability to turn that function off, much like you can turn off the double click to maximize feature. Ideally a single click to turn off all tiling features would be welcome by me, as I do not like automatic tiling or window resizing at any time.
Oh wow, I learned about this feature today. JFYI technically it's not actually tiling; it's performing a vertical or horizontal maximization of the window. Not quite the same thing. In general I wouldn't object to making it disable-able, but I have to ask: how are you triggering this by accident? What things next to window edges are you intending to double-click when you accidentally double-click instead?
It was mostly an issue due to a flaky mouse and the "not capturing the mouse in fullscreen" problem I reported which seems to have resolved itself with the update to qt 6.7.2. and NV555. It is actually a useful feature now that I understand what it is and this feature request can be canceled.
OK, thanks. :)
