Description EpicTux123 2024-08-04 18:18:18 UTC
SUMMARY
In the System Settings app of KDE, with "Highlight Changed Settings" enabled, the "Software Update" section does not highlight modified settings.

And also, even if reset that sections to defaults by clicking the "Defaults" button, it will still say it's modified, even though I just did a reset.

The "Software Update" section has a orange dot to indicate it's modified, but in the page itself nothing is highlighted as modified.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Enable "Highlight Changed Settings" in System Settings app.
2. Observe "Software Update" section.

OBSERVED RESULT
States it's modified, even if it's reset to defaults.

EXPECTED RESULT
Should properly state and highlight modified settings.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: Fedora Linux 40
KDE Plasma Version: 6.1.3
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.4.0
Qt Version: 6.7.2

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
I have some repositories added to "/etc/yum.repos.d/", but I do not know if that counts for the "Software Update" section in System Settings.
