Description Thomas 2024-08-03 03:45:44 UTC
***
If you have multiple Krita windows open, with one of them active, the other behind some windows, the colour selector will not choose the top window, and will instead prioritize the Krita Window, even when minimized. Happens in both KDE and Gnome.
***

SUMMARY

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
- Create 2 Krita windows, A and B
- Draw something in A
- Drag a window with a different colour in front of it
- Make B active, click the colour selector, and click the dropper
- Click the window in front of A

OBSERVED RESULT
You get the colour of whatever was in the Krita window

EXPECTED RESULT
You get the colour of what you selected in the frontmost Window.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Running PopOS KDE, all packages up to date. Also occurred on Gnome, and I think this issue occurred on Debian Gnome, too.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Has been very irritating for me for a while; this is what spurred me to create this account.
