SUMMARY
For more simple trimming operations, currently it is necessary to fully render files in kdenlive. ffmpeg can be much faster at trimming operations, simple slicing, and so forth.
The suggestion is to export the slicing operations (in time/frame), so that these values can be easily used as parameters for e.g. ffmpeg.
