Description gandalf1783@gmail.com 2024-07-28 20:55:50 UTC
SUMMARY
When having two full screen applications open, resizing one creates artificats on the other monitor/desktop.
It also happens (AFAIK) randomly or after some longer time, e.g. opening Betterbird (fork of Thunderbird) on the left desktop and using a browser/konsole on the 2nd desktop would result in similar issues, without resizing any window.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open two fullscreen applications on two different desktops/monitors
2. Grab one window at their menubar/titlebar and resize it/move it around

OBSERVED RESULT
Observing artifacts on the other desktop

EXPECTED RESULT
No artifacts on other desktop

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux Kernel: 6.6.42-1-lts
KDE Plasma Version: 6.1.3
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.4.0
Qt Version: 6.7.2

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
About this system states additional information:
 - Using Wayland
 - Using Mesa Intel Graphics from an i7-12700H
 - Running on Dell XPS 17 9720
 - KDE Plasma was not installed via AUR, but through the "official" published packages in the Arch repo
 - Running a secondary GeForce RTX 3050 Mobile, which uses the nvidia-535xx-dkms driver, but isnt being used by applications, e.g. games like Minecraft just use the integrated graphics, so it doesnt seem to be configured correctly by me
