Created attachment 171905 [details] dual-monitors-display SUMMARY Under a x11 session, it works flawlessly. But as soon as I enter a Wayland session, I can no longer use a multi monitors session. When connecting to a remote Windows computer using xfreerdp and with a multi monitor setup, the RDP window opens in full screen on both monitors. First monitor will display correctly the windows while the second monitor will "dynamically scale down" to fit the dual RDP window. I can see my cursor moving on both screen although the second monitor is unusable. If I move the cursor on the second monitor and hover on a window, it will instantly display the correct RDP window but the first monitor will then show both RDP windows scaled down to the monitor's size (like the second monitor did just before I moved the cursor). Moving the cursor across the monitors will simply move the weird display around. I already opened a case to xfreerdp : https://github.com/FreeRDP/FreeRDP/issues/10098 STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Have a multi monitors configuration. 2. Connect to a Windows computer using either remmina or xfreerdp OBSERVED RESULT One monitor displays the correct remote desktop while second monitor displays a scaled down version of a dual remote desktop. EXPECTED RESULT All monitors display their respective remote desktop. New news for this bug: Until now, I used an I-tech dock for my laptop connected to USB-C DP alt mode. Linux identified both the DP and HDMI outputs as Displayport. (DP-1, DP-2..etc) I changed the dock (Lenovo 40AF). Connection is the same USB-C DP alt mode The new dock identifies the 2 monitors as DVI ports. This works perfectly. By the way , It is wrong again , If I connect 1 monitor directly to the laptop's HDMI port. so: DVI port(s) thru dock is working. DP, HDMI ports diretly or thru docking station: wrong.
