Created attachment 171896 [details] Picture showing the widget options getting overlapped by the "Panel settings" box. SUMMARY When editing the panel on the new Plasma 6 "Edit mode" interface, if you hover your cursor over the widgets placed on the very right side of the panel, the editing options (such as remove widget, show alternatives, ...) appear behind the "Panel settings" box, making it practically impossible for you to see and use the options for that widget. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Right click the panel, "show panel settings" 2. Hover your cursor over the widgets on the right side of the panel 3. You will see that their settings box is broken as they appear behind the "Panel Settings" card OBSERVED RESULT Widgets configuration boxes overlap with the main "Panel settings" card. EXPECTED RESULT SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: Fedora Kinoite (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: 6.1.3 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.4.0 Qt Version: 6.7.2
I would say this belongs under the "5-minute-bugs" list, as it literally affects a very user-facing, core feature and can be reproduced with only two clicks. I first noticed this a long time ago, ever since the new plasma 6 edit mode got redesigned, but could only report it now. So I don't know whether this is a duplicate as the bug is very easy to reproduce and been around for a while now.
