SUMMARY
When screens turn off and lockscreen activates. Upon logging in, plasmashell has crahsed and desktop is black. Plasmashell restored by running " kstart plasmashell". Confirmed no instance of plasmashell running before running kstart command.


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1.  Let display turn off and enter lockscreen state.

Thank you for the bug report! This issue has already been filed and was determined to be an upstream issue. It should be fixed in future versions of Qt.
