Created attachment 171883 [details] Dolphin window showing different contents overlayed SUMMARY Since a view days, after some copy action in Dolphin, showing and changing folders becomes very slow and the content is "tearing"/mixed-up and selecting a file is drawn correctly after a short time. Don't know if this is expressed comprehensibly. For me it seems, that it has something to do with Wayland or the latest nvidia driver!? STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open Dolphin and open/show some folders - everything is fine and they show up directly without delay 2. Copy or move some files or folders 3. open or show folders becomes slow in terms of drawing on screen, the actual open action is normal but the drawing of the folder content is messed up and slow - there are some areas that show content of the folder which was open before and some areas with the content of the actual folder and after some time or moving the mouse-cursor over the window, the correct content of the actual folder is shown. 4. Selecting a file/folder seems to have no effect, but the marking is shown after some time (redraw of window content?!) 5. Close Dolphin and start Dolphin again - everything works fine and is drawn as expected 6. After copying a file or folder the same behaviour occurs as described above OBSERVED RESULT Drawing of content in Dolphin window is delayed EXPECTED RESULT opening a folder immediately shows the content or even the message that it is empty or content is loaded SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Dolphin 24.05.2 Operating System: KDE neon 6.0 KDE Plasma Version: 6.1.3 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.4.0 Qt Version: 6.7.0 Kernel Version: 6.5.0-41-generic (64-bit) Graphics Platform: Wayland Processors: 8 × Intel® Core™ i7-6820HQ CPU @ 2.70GHz Memory: 31.2 GiB of RAM Graphics Processor: Mesa Intel® HD Graphics 530 Manufacturer: LENOVO Product Name: 20EQS28U03 System Version: ThinkPad P50
