SUMMARY


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Launch spectacle in region selection mode
2. Select a region
3. Click export -> share -> choose any target (kdeconnect for example)
4. View shared image

OBSERVED RESULT
The shared image is the whole screen

EXPECTED RESULT
The shared image is only the selected region

Thank you for the bug report, and I'm sorry we weren't able to look into it yet. A lot has changed since it was reported; can I ask you to see if this is still an issue with Plasma 6.5 or later? Thanks a lot!

Tested on plasma 6.5, the issue is a bitt different now, I can't share anything at all now, see the attachment

Ah, that. It was also later fixed. IIRC in 6.5.4, but maybe 6.5.3.
