SUMMARY
Kile crashes when started.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Start Kile
2. 
3. 

OBSERVED RESULT
Kile shows the small loading screen, that disappears and then nothing happens.
In a terminal, the following message is shown: 
wl_subsurface#154: error 0: no parent
The Wayland connection experienced a fatal error during blocking read event: protocol error


EXPECTED RESULT
Kile shows the small loading screen, then starts.

Running wayland 1.23.0
Tried rebooting and re-installing, does not help.
