I confirm this behavior on 6.1.3. The bug appears fixed in git-master, I am *not* able to reproduce it there. Can you please re-test and see if you're still able to reproduce this with git-master? Steps to reproduce: Right click the clock in the taskbar to bring up Digital Clock settings -> Time Zones Add More Time Zones I chose Etc/GMT+4 Current time: 2:52PM - Central / GMT-6 Switched to GMT+4 in Time Zones, clicked Apply https://greenwichmeantime.com/time-zone/gmt-plus-4/ Time shown for GMT+4 is "3:52PM (-04)" - this is GMT-4 Actual time in GMT+4 is 11:52PM
(In reply to TraceyC from comment #1) I guess you talk about plasma-desktop-git. Sorry TraceyC, I'm on holidays (far from my time zone...) with a slow Internet connection, I won't put such a mess compiling plasma-desktop-git, with many not-up-to-date and orphaned packages. You're on your own, but thanks for dealing with this bug.
Hi, Please don't interrupt your holidays for the sake of this bug :) It will remain open for 30 days before auto-closing if there's not response before then. What I meant by git-master is that I have Plasma compiled from the master Plasma branch. When you're back from holiday, I have a question. You had put "master" as the version of Digital Clock in your bug report. How did you install it?
Created attachment 171945 [details] attachment-3567924-0.html thanks. about 'master', I did nothing, just clicked 'send a bug notice' in clock settings help page (see screenshot attached in French) and it brought me to bug tracking page (second attached) . I didn't tick 'master', it was already. paru -Qi plasma-desktop [ 7:34] Nom :plasma-desktop Version :6.1.3-1 Description :KDE Plasma Desktop Architecture :x86_64 URL :https://kde.org/plasma-desktop/ Licences :LGPL-2.0-or-later Groupes :plasma At this point, I saw 'plasmashell' as product, but I don't know what package has the clock inside, I have plasma5support plasma-desktop plasma-pa plasma-activities plasma-integration plasma-systemmonitor plasma-activities-stats plasma-nm plasma-workspace installed (listed thanks to zsh completion), and no plasmashell. So I thought you were talking about plasma-desktop-git, but maybe I'm wrong. All were installed long ago with my first plasma group install, with pacman and paru. No AUR/git involved here. Greetings. **************** Cordialement. Thanks for the additional details, Berbigou. The issue should be fixed on your system after Plasma updates beyond 6.1.3. I'm going to close this for now. If the bug still happens on your system after it's updated to Plasma > 6.1.3, feel free to reopen it.
Many Thanks
