Created attachment 171708 [details] Demo See the attachment. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Run some operation in Dolphin, e.g. Compress directory; 2. Minimize notification; 3. Open "Notifications"; 4. Delete some notification under Dolphin's operation notification. OBSERVED RESULT See attachments. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS KDE Plasma Version: 6.1.2 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.3.0 Qt Version: 6.7.2 Kernel version: 6.9.9-arch1-1 (64-bit) Graphics platform: Wayland (with fractional scaling 1.25) ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Created attachment 171710 [details] Screenshots (Plasma 6.1.2 TW) I can confirm it on Operating System: openSUSE Tumbleweed 20240714 KDE Plasma Version: 6.1.2 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.4.0 Qt Version: 6.7.2 Kernel Version: 6.9.9-1-default (64-bit) Graphics Platform: Wayland Steps to reproduce for: 1) Have two copy jobs running in Dolphin 2) Cancel one of the two copy jobs
I use a scaling factor of 2.0.
Hmm, this was supposed to have been fixed in 6.1.0; see Bug 487533.
With current git master, cannot reproduce the issue with either of those steps to reproduce at scale factor 225% (which is not relevant here). Maybe it's only fully fixed in 6.2. There were more refactoring changes that only landed in master, so it's plausible.
I re-tested this with 6.1.3 and git -master 1. Ensured I had some notifications in the tray 2. Compressed a directory in Dolphin 3. Minimized the notification 4. Open "Notifications" 5. Deleted one of the other notifications from before the Dolphin one 6.1.3: reproduced the issue, the compress notification looks like the attached screenshot in Screenshots git-master: Issue is no longer reproducable. Deleting prior notifications does not affect the width of the compression notification.
