I am also encountering this issue. It goes away when two-factor authentication is turned off. It returns when it's turned back on. Even using app passwords with 2FA on results in an inability to mount the share. Turning off 2FA fixes it. Not sure if that was the same thing? It had issues at the time when it won't even mount with my app passwords, and it was off and on.
