23.08 is unfortunately out of date, but this is still an interesting bug. Do you mind giving the names of the users so I can test? If not, it might be helpful to provide a log as well since a lot of this backtrace is qml-related.

Hi. I'm new to Linux and I didn't notice the Ubuntu version of Tokodon was obsolete. I tried downloading the Flatpak version which is a newer version but it gives me the following error when I tried to update: Aborted due to failure (While downloading http://ciscobinary.openh264.org/libopenh264-2.2.0-linux64.6.so.bz2: While fetching http://ciscobinary.openh264.org/libopenh264-2.2.0-linux64.6.so.bz2: [6] Couldn't resolve host name)

The app crashes when I try to reply to some toots like this one:
https://mastodon.green/@fanta/112809114376263136

I don't know how to provide the log.

Sorry about the late reply, but hopefully you sorted it out with your distro. Unless it's a Tokodon bug reproducible under the Flatpak that I can take action on it here. Feel free to re-open if this happens even with 24.08 on Flatpak.
