I just tried it and it seems to work in a way that is expected for me. This is what I see: 1. run `spectacle -br` and it shows the region selection UI. 2. Select a region. This can only work with a GUI of some kind, so I'm assuming you mean the viewer window when you say GUI rather than the rectangle selection GUI. 3. Confirm the selection by pressing Enter or double clicking the selection or clicking the Accept button. In 22.12 (the old version), you still needed to press enter or double click to accept the region unless you had the "Accept on click and release" setting enabled. That setting is also available in the current version. 4. It will be saved with a notification, which is expected when using `--background` unless you use `--nonotify` Is this not the expected default behavior for you?
