SUMMARY

When using the Browse Device tab in the KDECONNECT tray icon, KDECONNECT automatically launched WinSCP, but I encountered an access denied error with a prompt indicating a wrong password. I have no idea what the password is, although the SHA256 key that popped up has been accepted.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE

1. Clicked on the Browse Device tab in the KDECONNECT tray icon.
2. KDECONNECT automatically initiated the launch of WinSCP.
3. Encountered the "access denied" error and a prompt for a password, which I don't know.

OBSERVED RESULT

Received an "access denied" error and a password incorrect prompt in WinSCP.

EXPECTED RESULT

To be able to successfully access and browse the device files without encountering the password error.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS

Windows: [Your Windows version]
macOS: N/A
Linux/KDE Plasma: N/A
(available in About System)
KDE Plasma Version: [Your KDE Plasma version]
KDE Frameworks Version: [Your KDE Frameworks version]

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

I have ensured that my device and computer are on the same local network and have a stable connection. I have also attempted reinstalling both KDECONNECT and WinSCP, but the issue persists.

Dear all,
I am pleased to inform you that I have successfully resolved the issue I encountered when using the Browse Device tab in KDECONNECT. Specifically, when KDECONNECT automatically launched WinSCP, I was confronted with an access denied error along with a wrong password prompt. This problem was exclusive to the latest Android version 1.31.1.
Fortunately, I have discovered a viable solution. By downgrading to version 1.30.1, the problem can be effectively remedied.
Please excuse my poor English as I am from China. I sincerely hope this information proves beneficial to those of you who may be experiencing the same predicament.
Best wishes!
