SUMMARY I have my window title bar double-click behavior set to shade/unshade. Randomly, occasionally, a double-click will instead do something else: * maximize the window * move the window to the top of the screen * move the window to the top of the screen and vertically maximize it STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. configure title bar double-click behavior to shade/unshade 2. double-click the title bar of windows on a regular basis 3. observe that sometimes it does one of the actions listed above instead of the desired behavior OBSERVED RESULT see above EXPECTED RESULT only perform the shade/unshade action SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: Gentoo KDE Plasma Version: 6.1.2 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.3.0 Qt Version: 6.7.2 window system: X11, /not wayland/
Still broken in 6.2.0
I'm not able to reproduce this on git-master (X11). this may be fixed when your system updates Frameworks to 6.7.0. Can you try reproducing at that point? KDE Plasma Version: 6.2.80 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.7.0 Qt Version: 6.7.3 Kernel Version: 6.10.13-304.current (64-bit) Graphics Platform: X11
I also can't reproduce on KDE Neon (X11) KDE Plasma Version: 6.2.0 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.6.0 Qt Version: 6.7.2 Kernel Version: 6.8.0-45-generic (64-bit) Graphics Platform: X11
I've experienced the same broken behavior multiple times already since updating to 6.2.0. Currently with: Plasma 6.2.0 Frameworks 6.6.0 QT 6.7.3 kernel 6.6.52 platform X11 xorg-server 21.1.13-r1
In your comment, the system info says it has Frameworks 6.6.0. Can you try reproducing when your system has Frameworks 6.7.0? Thanks!
(In reply to TraceyC from comment #5) > In your comment, the system info says it has Frameworks 6.6.0. Can you try > reproducing when your system has Frameworks 6.7.0? Thanks! I just updated to frameworks 6.7.0. I'll see how it goes.
It just did it again, using frameworks 6.7.0. I double clicked the title bar on a shaded window and it moved it to the top of the screen rather than unshade it.
I'm sorry to hear it's still buggy for you. I'll keep this open so someone can look into it further.
