EXPECTED RESULT no editor mode options should appear, and items should be clickable normally SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: macOS: Linux/KDE Plasma: Fedora KDE 40 (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: 6.1.1 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.3.0 Qt Version: 6.7.2 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
I can't reproduce this with Plasma 6.1.1 (neon live), Plasma 6.1.2 (Tuxedo OS) or Plasma 6.1.80 (neon unstable). Can you be a bit more explicit about step 2? I've tried moving, clicking, right-clicking and opening the configuration dialogs (through the tooltip and through the context menu) to "modify the system tray". But each time, either edit mode remains open, or closes and the panel can be interacted with normally. It is quite possible that there is a certain sequence of steps that leads to this, but I would need more information to find and reproduce this

Thanks! I can reproduce this on Plasma 6.1.1, but not on any later version. This is fixed in Plasma 6.1.2, with this commit: https://invent.kde.org/plasma/libplasma/-/commit/ccfbf390d2ae4557adba049531980f783b726710 I'm marking this as a duplicate of the original bug.
