Description b2cc 2024-07-09 07:28:34 UTC
SUMMARY
Since Plasma 6.1 (Nvidia/Wayland), whenever I share my screen with a Chrome/Electron based app (e.g. Slack), the screen sharing is flickering wildly for the viewers whenever the cursor is moved, making screen sharing very difficult.

This was working correctly in Plasma 6.0, and only started to show in Plasma 6.1
A similar bug was reported here:
* https://forum.manjaro.org/t/kde-wayland-6-1-broke-chromium-screen-sharing-lag/164552

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open Chrome or Slack
2. Share screen
3. Observe flickering

EXPECTED RESULT
1. Screen sharing doesn't flicker for viewers

Linux/KDE Plasma: Gentoo Linux
