Description lcthesecond 2024-07-08 13:33:55 UTC
SUMMARY
Whenever i defined fish as the default shell, one of my monitors gets a downgrade in resolution, and that resolution is no longer avaliable for selection.
If I change back to bash as default. The resolution becomes avaliable again.

Things to consider. Both monitors are the same model (LG 19EB13) My PC only has 1 HDMI and 1 VGA.
The monitor that always loses resolution is the VGA-1

It happens on both X11 and Wayland

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Set FISH as default shell
2. Reboot
