SUMMARY

after the 1st time running kde partition manager, subsequent runnings of the program the sudo prompt is behind the main window, making it appear that the program has hung.


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. run kde partition mnager
2. enter sudo pw
3.  close program
4. restart kde partition manager
5. looks like the program has hung, but looking at the bottom tray, you can see it and click on it to bring it to the forefront.
6 reboot starts this 1-5 over again

I used to observe it too but now it works fine in newer KF6/Qt6 based versions (at least on Wayland).

(Also it's not a sudo prompt :). It's polkit, so different set of rules from sudo.)
