OBSERVED RESULT
some letters like "t" and "i" look off/too thin

they look like the rest of the word

because you can't edit afaik this only appears on this specific font size.
If display bigger like favorites in kickoff it looks normal

Thank you for the bug report! I think this is the same issue as bug 479891; as you can see from the screenshot in the second comment, a way too thin letter 'i' is one of the symptoms of that bug. There are some workarounds, and the next version of Qt is supposed to solve many or all cases of this.
