SUMMARY
I have experimented extensively with this but I never had a different result.
About a day or so after I set up a google calendar in the Merkuro calendar it stops updating. Also when I trigger an update it won't do so.
Only in the first hours it will update completely as it should.
Perhaps this is old news for you.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Set up google-account in Merkuro calendar
2. Wait a few hours

OBSERVED RESULT
Google calendar account is frozen and will never again update

EXPECTED RESULT
Google account updates if the content changes
